One year ago today...

... we received "the call" that a little boy named Samuel was waiting for us at an orphanage in Medellin, Colombia. I remember every detail of this day like it was yesterday. Months before we got the call I felt very strongly that March would be "the month" even though I didn't have a logical reason as to why I felt that way. So when I got to work on March 1st, I looked at the calendar hanging on the wall in my office, changed it from February to March and said a little prayer that we would hear something soon. Then when I was home for lunch, our case worker called with the news and our prayers were answered. It was such an exciting day!!
